               The convention will take place at the Omni Hotel , 9821 Colonnade Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78230. Room reservations may be made for the Omni Hotel as follows: Phone: (800) 843-6664, (210) 691-8888; FAX: (210) 691-1128; Online: www.omnihotels.com (Click on San Antonio listing).  Cut-off date for the block of reserved rooms is June 1. Afterwards rooms will be on an “as available” basis.  Reservations must be made and confirmed with major credit card. Make sure that you mention 10-10 International Net, Inc., to obtain the convention price of $79.00.  This convention price will be in effect for 3 days prior to and 3 days after the convention dates.  Check-in time is 12 P.M., unless notified to hold, or room will be released. 

               PRE-REGISTRATIONS will commence on November 1, 2002, and must be postmarked no later than May 27, 2003.   Pre-registration prizes of a Ranger RCI-2950DX (for hams) and $200.00 (for non-hams) will be drawn for at the banquet.  You may register after May 27, but you will not be eligible for the drawing. The registration desk, for WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS and pick up of registration packets, will be open on Thursday, June 26, from 1000-1600 (10 A.M - 4 P.M.) in the foyer by the swimming pool.  Please bring a QSL card and turn it in when you register. 

               Chapter tables set-up will begin at 0800 (8 A.M. CST), Friday in the Grand Ballroom, Sections A, B, and C.  Chapters must pre-register to obtain a table.  Breakdown of tables, etc., must be done by 1700 (5 P.M. CST), Saturday.

               If you are driving an RV to the convention and do not need a hook-up, parking on the hotel parking lot is permissible.  If you want to park at an RV campsite, campsites are available a short distance from the hotel.  Information on campsites is on the convention website or in the convention information in the 10-10 News.

               To insure that you have a seat at the banquet, the convention committee highly recommends that you pre-register for the banquet. If the attendance at the past banquets is any indication, there will only be a very limited supply of tickets available for late registrants.

               Once again we ask all chapters to donate a prize, and, in addition, we would ask others to donate a prize(s).  These can be sent to Bill Heberling, WD5EDR, 6819 Farrow Place, San Antonio, TX 78240-3428.  Prizes may also be dropped off at the registration desk.
